The Challenge
In the spring of 2009, a client at a PSAV partner hotel in New York was poised to cancel their meeting; citing concerns over the outbreak of the H1N1 virus in North America. The client, a securities firm based out of Tokyo, was very disappointed to not have the personal contact with key members of their planned event – an investment that had promised a positive return for them. Having recently been certified to offer the new service, the onsite PSAV team immediately presented several video-conferencing options to the client.
